Referrals

While the state of Alaska does not require prescriptions from a physician to receive physical therapy, it is highly recommended to obtain a prescription if one is planning on using medical insurance. The majority of insurances require a referral from a physician in order for physical therapy services to be covered.

Billing Policy

Arctic Physical Therapy will bill insurances, however the patient is ultimately responsible for the total bill and agrees to pay in a timely fashion if the insurance company fails to pay for the services rendered. For more information, please visit our billing policy.
