Roxann has been a practicing physical therapist for over 18 years. She graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in 1995 and then with a Master's of Physical Therapy in 1997, both from Simmons College in Boston, MA. Roxann has worked in Massachusetts, Louisiana, and Alaska in a variety of settings including acute inpatient care, hospital rehab, long-term care, home health, public and private school systems, and outpatient care. From 2001 - 2004, she set up, managed, and ran the physical therapy department at the Valdez Regional Hospital. From 2004 - 2009, Roxann worked as a physical therapist and then rehab manager at Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center. Roxann's personal philosophy as a therapist is to first listen to the patient carefully, make a plan together, and try everything as indicated and necessary to reach their goals. Every person is an individual, so should their rehab plan be individualized. Roxann lives in Kodiak with her husband, 2 children, a dog, cat, 2 chickens, 2 ducks, and a rabbit. She enjoys sunshine, Sudoku, and an occasional nap.
